Chicken Processing Workshop

Welcome to our Chicken Processing Workshop at True Cut Ranch! Join us for a hands-on experience where you'll learn how to properly butcher a chicken from start to finish. Fred and Melissa Falcone, farmers at True Cut Ranch, will guide you through the process, teaching you valuable skills that you can use at home. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to learn more about where their food comes from. Don't miss this unique opportunity to connect with your food in a meaningful way!

What's new?

We have increased the size of the workshop (from 4 participants to 20) and removed the lunch to make this workshop much more affordable. Instead of Melissa serving a lunch we'll have healthy snacks and drinks plus all-day access to Creekview, our covered picnic area, and the fishing pond if you wish to pack your own picnic lunch.

What's included?

  • Hands-on experience
  • Snacks and drinks
  • One whole chicken, which you'll help process, to take home (add on more at $22 each)
  • Choice of activities after we're done processing: join Fred for a farm tour and receive guidance from Fred about how to raise poultry from brooding to the field or join Melissa to explore possibilities for what to do with all the chicken you'll now be ready to process at home, including freezer organization, pressure-canning, broth making, and more
  • Full-day access to the fishing pond (it's a great place to relax and enjoy a picnic)
