Learn all about whole chicken butchery. This is a demo-style class taught by our very own Chef, Nick Walker, using local chickens from Lonestar Ecogreen Farm located in Sulphur Springs. The class will cover whole chicken anatomy, breaking down a whole bird, and understanding the different tools, cuts, and cooking techniques along the way. Also included with all in-person attendees is a whole chicken to bring home so they can practice the new techniques they just learned!In addition to the demo, 4 delicious chicken-forward small bites and adult beverages will be served. Tickets:Premium ($129 per person)- You will get a front-row seat for the whole chicken butchery class AND a VIP gift bag to take home including goodies like Profound Chicken marinade, bbq sauce, fajita seasoning, and other goods from the Profound Kitchen. For me, it was all about wanting an even deeper connection with my food and where it comes from. I embarked on a life-long journey to make an impact on the environment and the health of our family through building connections with my food. I want to know my farmers and ranchers. I want to know my food is raised responsibly without chemicals and negative environmental impact. I want to know in an SHTF scenario that I&#x27;d have the skills to feed my family. I love the learning journey and the closer I get to the source of my food, the better the taste and experience.
