Mandy Crypt

Mandy is a Chicago native who enjoys the weird, spooky, obscure, the slightly gross, and the entertaining side of history. As a nationally-accredited guide, she's been doing tours and talks for over seven years now, working with students, the elderly, and everyone in between. Mandy runs a popular Patreon, and leads tours for Effing Chicago, Chicago for Chicagoans, Babylon Tours, Hemisphere Travel, Worldstrides, and others. When she's not educating others about LGBTQ history, women's history, serial killers, or Victorian rituals (to name a few), you can usually find her crocheting or caving to the demands of her cat. Mandy leads tours for our organization in Uptown, Roscoe Village, and the Loop.
