About this event

Are you an artist or maker crafting handmade (non-consumable) goods? Interested in connecting with other local artists and makers? Join us at the Design Museum of Chicago for a fun evening of networking, inspiration and sharing resources!

This vibrant gathering is designed to bring together the local maker community, offering a unique opportunity to network, share ideas, and ignite collaborations that will shape the future of the Chicago creative community. Bring a vision, dream, or goal you've been meaning to work toward or a business challenge you’re working through.

Refreshments and light bites from ArePa George will be provided.

Come alone or bring a fellow maker with you!

PARKING / PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION|
The Museum is located just off of Michigan Avenue, near multiple transportation options.

CTA: If you are taking the El, we are closest to the Lake, State/Lake, and Washington/Wabash stops. If you are taking the bus, we are especially close to the 2, 6, J14, 146, 147, 148, and 151.

Rail: The museum is directly across the street from the Metra Millenium Station and the Metra Electric line.

Car: Metered street parking is available downtown on a first come, first served basis. It is difficult to find this parking near the museum. We cannot emphasize enough that if you do park on the street, to make sure you are parked legally. Chicago does tow and ticket liberally.

There are multiple public parking garages within 3 blocks of the museum. We cannot validate parking, nor can we guarantee best rates. However, we’d recommend using a 3rd party app, like SpotHero, Parking Panda, or Park Chicago to get the best deal.

Alternate transportation: Divvy is Chicago’s bike share program. There are 3 Divvy docks within a block of the museum. Always wear a helmet!

ACCESSIBILITY & OTHER VENUE DETAILS|

Wheelchair accessible entrance.
