The class encompasses a comprehensive package, including pre-lined wig making caps, sewing thread, pinwheel, practice fabric, wig combs, wig bands, weaving thread, weaving needle, clips, hair grippers, comb, scissors and company backpack! Lastly, a Certificate of Completion marking the successful culmination of the workshop.
This hands-on workshop teaches participants to craft a complete Lace Front Wig using a sewing machine, with a tutorial provided—no prior experience required. Utilizing a lace frontal or lace closure and weft hair, students can accelerate their wig making process significantly. After mastering the basics, participants can expect to complete a wig in approximately an hour.
Learn to create wigs quickly and easily, regardless of prior experience with sewing machines. Rhonda's background as a former seamstress and current Hair Extensionist uniquely positions her to train students to excel in wig making. With promptness, patience, and a willingness to learn, students can acquire valuable wig making skills to increase their income potential, even from home.
The curriculum includes a machine tutorial, fitting a customer for a lace front wig, consultation techniques, adding a lace frontal or closure to a wig cap, and attaching accessories with a sewing machine.
Required materials include a Singer/Brother (working) Sewing Machine, Lace Closure or Lace Frontal with 2-3 bundles (cheap bundles for practice), Canvas Block Head, Tripod Mannequin Stand, and a 3-4 foot extension cord.
