MONDO CORTEZ

⭐ Mondo is the founder of the CHICAGO BLUES ANGELS band. CBA has played American Roots Music, Rock n Roll, Blues, Rockabilly, and a whole lotta soul since 1999.

He has shared the stage with such performers as Otis Rush, Junior Wells, Nick Curran, Kid Ramos, Kim Wilson, Lynwood Slim, Jimmie Vaughan, and Willie Smith. Mondo's influences are Johnny Guitar Watson, Muddy Waters, Albert Collins, Freddie King, Earl Hooker, and Robert Lockwood.

The Venue is a live music performance space located in downtown Aurora, west of Chicago. Featuring local, national, and touring acts, The Venue showcases all genres of music on its intimate stage. The Venue offers a bar specializing in local craft beers and comfortably seats nearly 200 with no obstructed views.
