Registration deadline: Monday, 20/05/2019
The Chemistry Postdoc and Fellow Reps invite all PhD students, Postdocs and Fellows in the Department of Chemistry at Imperial College to attend this full-day event featuring short talks (and Q&A) of alumni of the department, who are now working in a wide range of academic and non-academic posts. This event will be a great opportunity to explore different career options and we hope it will help you in the choice of the right career path in science.
The talks will focus on giving an account of the speakers’ professional career, and will serve to highlight the challenges faced in different jobs, useful skills acquired during their time at the department, skills they wish they had learnt and tips for composing strong job applications.
A wide range of companies are sponsoring this event and will be present with a stand (see image above). Take this fantastic opportunity to talk to these high-profile employers in a relaxed atmosphere!
