Welcome to a new year and a new season of The Chef Series!

The Chef Series is a dope night of EATING: an educational and experiential pop up dinner with cooking presentations designed to share The Nest – A Brunch Joint’s unique approach to brunch dining.

A bit about the Chef…

Antonio has an Afro-Latino background and was born in Ohio…but raised 30 minutes from the Tijuana border in San Diego. He went to college in San Francisco during the mecca of Bay Area food culture in the early 2000’s. He has lived in Los Angeles County for the last 15 years in Long Beach and hopes to bring elements of ALL of these rich traditions to his Chef Series.

What can you expect from The Chef Series?

Chef Series is back! This May we are celebrating our Owner/Founder Antonio’s birthday with fun, family friends and great food. With a menu highlighting the spring season and all the fresh produce that only is available this time of year. It’s time for a Spring Awakening!

What’s on the menu?

course 1 white gazpacho | course 2 spring pea lemon and ham | course 3 roasted carrot and porcini mushroom with bacon lardons | course 4 garden smash burger with gruyère | course 5 champagne and strawberry cream popsicle

What about the drinks?

All the drinks will be fun and inspired cocktails, mocktails and other libations that directly pair with the food.

Antonio can’t think of a better way to celebrate 10 Years of The Nest than to curate and cook for his favorite event, with his favorite people (you)!
