Chef Roast

Situated on the iconic Chicago River with stunning views of downtown, River Roast is a lively social house and gathering place. The menu features contemporary American tavern fare with dramatic presentations of whole roasted chicken, whole roasted fish, and slow roasted beef carved table side.

Chef Roast returns to another night of good-natured "roasting" to benefit Pilot Light Chefs, a nonprofit organization. River Roast's Chefs John Hogan and Tony Mantuano team up with Paul Kahan to present a four-course dinner and a comedic chef "roast" emceed by Chicago's favorite host, Lin Brehmer.
THURSDAY, MARCH 9 | 6-9PM 85 dollars per person
MENU:
First: Charcuterie selection (John Hogan and Paul Kahan)
Second: Gemelli with pancetta, kale and pine nuts (Tony Mantuano)
Third: Publican Chicken with curly endive & ranchovy dressing, served with roasted Romanesco with salsa macha and hazelnuts (Paul Kahan)
Fourth: Salmon consommé with wild mushroom and black butter (John Hogan)
Fifth: Apple crostata with caramel gelato (Tony Mantuano)
