But there remains at least one who, quite like early 90's era Scott Baccula on Quantum Leap, can seemingly access and pull from the past at will. And with this GoGoGadget TimeTravel function, both good and bad, balanced by its inherent duality, make the voyage back.
And good news: he comes baring gifts. An almost childlike giddiness mixed with sincere kindness. A talent that nourishes well beyond four walls. A Taco Bell classic, so many carrots, and a big fat L for Bobby Flay.
This is our pal - Chef Avishar Barua. You know him from TV. You sup at his Agni. You start your weekend at his Joya’s. And all for good reason. He’s an immense talent who’s culinary skills are outshined only by his immeasurable love for the world at large and staying young at heart.
And if you do know of him, you’re probably aware of his preference for flame. With Agni as the temple, we’ll gladly tithe in perpetuity.But in the absence of Agni and acknowledging there is indeed smoke before the proverbial fire, then how apropos the time and place?
Add wood. More fire. Less fire. More smoke.
