Join us for an afternoon of broom making and 90’s nostalgia. Learn to make a traditional

style hens wing hand broom adorned with cute charms and a braided hemp hanging loop.

Step back in time when Surge was available at Giant Eagle, Backstreet Boys was on the

radio and going to camp was the highlight of summer. Join Husk Brooms in this 3 hour

workshop learning a new craft but honoring old crafts too.


Camp activities:

Retro refreshments and snacks provided

90's Jams

Braided hemp hanging loop making

Charm adorned broom making

Fun times will be had!


Location:

Kolich shelter is set against the lake of North Park, a perfect picturesque backdrop for an afternoon of crafting. Please refrain from bringing pets, children or other guests outside those registered for the event. The shelter has bathroom facilities (porta potty) and parking nearby.


Skills:

This workshop is beginner friendly. Broom making does require mobility in both hands and feet. Working barefoot will be encouraged!


Vibe:

Adults only: 21+, calling all 70's, 80's and 90's babies wanting to relive a fun day at camp.

Please refrain from bringing outside guests, pets and small children. Those who are old enough to walk around the park during workshop is totally fine! Please use your discretion.
