WHO

  • Always E.A.T.S., Inc. is a non-profit that supports the culinary department of Garinger High School. It is run and supported by teachers.

WHAT

  • Summer day camp experiences for scholars 10 years old and up. 9:00 am - 2:00 pm Monday - Thursday.
  • Teaching and connecting cooking and urban farming education.
  • We will be taking farm tours, restaurant visits, cultivating crops, and cooking.
  • Campers will be instructed and guided by experienced teachers and experts in the industry.

WHEN

Campers may participate in one session or multiple. Each week's agenda will vary.

  • July 15th - July 18th
  • July 22 - July 25th
  • July 29th - August 2nd

Frequently asked questions

What are the drop off/pick up times for my camper?

Drop off is from 8:00 am - 9:00 am (breakfast is included). Camp sessions begin at 9:15 am and end at 2:00 pm (lunch & light snack are included). Pick up is at 2:00pm.

What is the cost of participation?

Camp is $300 per week. If you have a promotional code, your reduced price will be reflected once you enter the code at checkout. Ask about scholarships.

I thought there was a 10 day session, what happened?

After feedback from you all, we have altered the sessions to be more flexible. We know summers can be busy with family vacations and other activities. There are now weekly cohorts, however, your camper can absolutely sign up for multiple weeks. We would love to have them!

What should I do if I don't have childcare on Fridays?

Don't worry, we have a sister company that offers childcare services. Just ask for more information and we'd be happy to refer you.

What should I do if I don't get off work until 5:00 pm and camp is over at 2:00 pm?

We've got you covered. Ask about our extended stay package and we'd be happy to send you over more information.
