About this event

Charlotte County Reads is a collaboration between Charlotte County Public Schools, United Way, YMCA, and Boys and Girls Club. Volunteers will be placed at Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, or Englewood summer camp locations. The commitment is 1 hour per week from June 5 to August 10. Volunteers will be required to undergo a Level 2 background check.

Volunteers will be trained to support the Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading Summer Reading Challenge.
