Welcome to Kansas City's first annual Char Bar Cup! A three-week croquet clinic, hosted by Midwest Croquet Association. The clinic is followed by a six-ball individual games, where participants can compete for prizes. Your $5 donation benefits local charity Giving the Basics. It's the perfect excuse to sip a craft cocktail, brag about your athletic prowess, and wear white after Labor Day.

Giving the Basics provides personal care products to people in need. Your support helps this local organization serve nearly 220,000 people through more than 65 non-profit agencies and 14 local school districts. We encourage you to bring donations such as baby wipes, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, tampons, maxi pads, pull ups, shaving cream, toothpaste, etc. any time! I'm not very good at croquet - can I play in the Char Bar Cup? Absolutely! The Char Bar Cup is for all skill levels and there will be representatives from the Midwest Croquet Association conducting a croquet clinic! 
I'm basically a croquet pro - can I play in the Char Bar Cup? What are you waiting for - join us! 
Where does the $5 donation go? The donation benefits Giving the Basics, a local charity that provides the necessities of life, not covered by government assistance programs, that most people take for granted such as laundry soap, shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper and other personal care hygiene products. What do I need to bring? Bring a friend, your A-game and dress in your best croquet attire. Equipment is provided!
What do I wear? For croquet, it's appropriate to wear flat soled shoes and white or light colored clothing. (And, yes, it's after Labor Day--but that's proper croquet attire and you're a fashion rebel).
What time do I play?  The clinic will begin at 6:30pm! 
How old do I have to be to play?  All participants must be at least 21 years old.
