Chapter leaders are invited to join us for this unique opportunity to learn, share, and meet fellow chapter leaders, your chapter relations manager, and the National Advisors for Chapters.

Are you eligible to participate in Chapter Leader Day? Chapter leaders registering for chapter leader day should be:

• Current chapter and national ASTD members
• Currently serving in a chapter leadership role

• Reserved General Session Seating, Monday-Wednesday
  Chapter Leaders are invited to take advantage of reserved seating during the general sessions. Look for RESERVED SEATING signs near the front of the general session room.

  Monday: 2:00-3:00 p.m.
  Tuesday: 2:45-3:45 p.m.
  Current chapter leaders are invited to enjoy refreshments, conversation, and recharge your batteries!
  
  
• Chapter Leader Networking Social, Monday, May 5, 5:30 p.m. , Room 209A
  All current chapter leaders are invited to enjoy beer and wine during the Chapter Leader Networking Social. Tickets to the networking social will be distributed onsite; chapter leaders may pick up their free ticket in the Chapter Leader Lounge as early as Sunday morning.
  
  
• Congressional Conversations, Wednesday, May 7, 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Capitol Hill
  
  On Wednesday, May 7, ASTD’s Public Policy Council will lead a group of U.S. chapter leaders to Capitol Hill to meet with members of Congress and their staffs to introduce ASTD and offer our expertise on training and workforce development. ASTD Public Policy will help you get ready for the event by providing email templates to request appointments with Congressional staff and talking points for your visit.

  10:00: Meet in room 209 A for a brief orientation and grab-and-go snacks
  10:30: Board bus to Capitol Hill
  11:00: Arrive on Capitol Hill
  11:15-1:30: Time for your meetings
  1:45: Board bus back to Convention Center
  2:30: Arrive back to Convention Center
