About this event
Our City supports our vibrant, diverse neighborhoods. The Champaign Neighborhood Network Conference (CNNC) is a dynamic one-day conference featuring presentations from City staff, local governing bodies/institutions, and community partner agencies covering topics relevant to maintaining vibrant and engaged neighborhoods. CNNC is geared towards Champaign's registered neighborhood group leaders, their respective neighbors and community members interested in neighborhood organizing and engagement efforts. CNNC will provide a content rich day of diverse learning opportunities in areas such as City programs, engagement initiatives, and community resources available to support building stronger neighborhood connections. Registered neighborhood group leaders can also attend the Small Grants 101 workshop, leaving with a completed small grant application, and a planned engagement event for their neighborhood! The conference will include a key-note address from Neighborhoods USA (NUSA) president Precious McKesson. Then, join us in the Walnut and Washington Parking lot from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm for the kick-off event to the Champaign NEIGHBORhood NetWORKS Campaign. CONFERENCE SPACE IS LIMITED. Register today! REGISTRATION IS FREE! Contact Neighborhood Services at 217-403-7070 if you have any questions or need assistance registering for CNNC.
