Chalk Art Workshop

Designers serve a critical role as communicators, educators and innovators. Founded in 1914, AIGA is the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design. AIGA’s mission is to advance design as a professional craft, strategic tool, and vital cultural force.AIGA supports design professionals, educators and students throughout their careers. AIGA represents a variety of professions under the umbrella of communication design, ranging from book and type design to interactive and user experience design.Northwest Arkansas is a proven hub for creative work, and has had an AIGA chapter since 2017. The board is made up of representatives from Northwest Arkansas companies, agencies and educational institutions.

Join us for a Chalk Art Workshop led by local artist, Brandon Bullette.

The Shiloh Square, Downtown Springdale

Renowned local artist, Brandon Bullette, will show us how to translate our creative ideas into chalk art.Chalk will be provided. You may want to bring your favorite garden gloves and foam gardening pad or knee pads to make chalking on the concrete more comfortable.This event is free and open to the public, but please RSVP so we provide adequate materials.After the workshop, you will be within walking distance to live music at the adjacent Turnbow park as part of the <a href="https://www.downtownspringdale.org/live-at-turnbow-concerts" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Live at Turnbow Concert Series</a>. Drinks from local bars are permitted in this space during this event.
