Please join this Chair Chat to discuss the unique challenges facing board chairs of small independent schools (<250 students). In today's competitive environment, small schools are hit with pressures around falling enrollment numbers and philanthropic support that may threaten thier financial sustainability. In addition, trustees of small schools have a tendency to get overly involved in school operations leading to some commonly shared leadership challenges for board chairs.

Join us to discuss strategies to help you lead your board effectively amidst the small school landscape so your board can perform at it's highest and best potential. Learn from each other and Carolyn Okin, an independent day school consultant and strategist specializing in board goverance and fundraising.
