About this event

Chaco is committed to being there for life's greatest adventures. For our 35th anniversary, we're inviting 35 couples to get married or renew their vows with Chaco at the first ever Chaco Wedding!

Not ready to make a commitment? No problem! We need wedding guests too! So come for the live music, riverside bewies, and help us cheer on the happy couples. Even if you don’t say “I do,” you’ll be glad you did.

Here's How It Works

Chaco will supply the venue, the entertainment, the officiant, a complimentary toast for our couples, and a photographer among other sweet treats. You'll bring your marriage license (if you're eloping), your pals, your dancing shoes, and your debit card for drinks at the bar. Let's celebrate!

We'll Give You a Ride!

Parking at The Mish is pretty limited, but we've got you covered. We're providing shuttles for the first 150 guests that select that option alongside their ticket. The shuttle will run from the CSU Tennis Complex in Fort Collins to the front door of The Mish.

Custom Sandals Made While You Wait

The Chaco For Life Tour mobile factory will be on site to build your dream Chacos for your special moment. Commemorate your day with a special one-of-a-kind pair! You can reserve a spot when you book your ticket or the crew will gladly accept a walk-up appointment the day of the event.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a marriage license to *officially* elope at the event

Yes, you will need a valid Colorado Civil Union or Marriage License from Larimer County. Information can be found here: https://www.larimer.gov/clerk/recording/marriage

Why are you only allowing 35 couples to get married or renew their vows?

It's our 35th anniversary this year so we want to celebrate with 35 couples. We are keeping the number small to ensure we can provide special touches for each couple. The event is open to all, though, and guests who aren't eloping or renewing their vows are encouraged to join in on the celebration!

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No personal alcohol is permitted on site in any area. Any alcohol found will be confiscated by the venue and guest will be asked to leave the premise.

What should I bring with me?

Sunscreen, sunglasses, camp chair or blanket to sit on, your marriage or civil union license (if you're a wedding couple), your debit or credit card for drinks and food (The Mish is a cashless venue).

How will the shuttle work?

The first 150 guests to add the shuttle option to their order will enjoy complimentary shuttle service to and from the venue. The shuttle will pick up at the CSU Tennis Complex. In the tickets area you will select a specific pickup/return time. Address/details will be provided in the confirmation.

Do I have to wear Chacos?

Wearing Chacos is not required but strongly encouraged! Show us your toes!

What do I have to pay for?

Entry to the event is free! Guests may incur a nominal ticket processing fee from Eventbrite. Guests are responsible to pay for their own food and beverages throughout event. Couples must supply their own marriage license.

Is there cell reception at the venue?

There is no cell reception at the venue or in the canyon. The venue does have a guest wifi network but it can be spotty when the venue is busy.

Can I attend if I'm not getting married or renewing my vows?

Absolutely and we hope you do! What's a wedding without a bunch of fun guests? Even if you're not getting married you can still join the party as a guest.
