Certified Scrum Professional - Scrum Master® (CSP-SM®)

Certified Scrum Professional®-Scrum Master® (CSP-SM®) is an in-depth two-day immersion into the world of Scrum and the role of a professional Scrum Master.

The class provides a deep dive into Lean Thinking, visual facilitation techniques, remote teams, and more as we examine the relationship of the Scrum Master to the product owner, the team, and the organization.

The Course consists of some pre-reading, homeowr during class and post class homework. Successffully submitting the post class homework in the time box provided will conclude the class and led to the certification.

Filled with real-world examples from the attendees’ experiences, you’ll leave this class with practical tools and techniques that can be implemented immediately at your workplace.

Certified Scrum Professionals challenge their teams to improve the way Scrum and Agile principles are applied. CSP-SM®s have demonstrated experience, documented training, and proven knowledge in Scrum.

Prerequisites

• Current Advanced Certified Scrum Master® (A-CSM®) certification with Scrum Alliance.
• At least two years of work experience in a Scrum Master role in the last five years. (In order to validate work experience, it must be entered on the candidate’s Scrum Alliance profile in the Scrum Experience section where it is noted that this is required for Path to CSP applications.)
• Day-to-day involvement with at least one Scrum Team and a mandate to work with the broader organization.

Certified Scrum Professional - Scrum Master® represents the culmination of the Path to CSP program and the highest-level accreditation that Scrum Alliance offers for Scrum Masters. Attaining Certified Scrum Professional - Scrum Master® is the third and final step in the Path to CSP in the Scrum Master track.

This program is designed for practicing Scrum Masters who have completed CSM®– and A-CSM®. Certified Scrum Professionals challenge their teams to improve the way Scrum and Agile principles are applied. They have demonstrated experience, documented training, and proven knowledge in Scrum.

Cancellation Policy

In order to receive a refund you must notify us no later than 10 business days prior to the class start date. Cancellation requests received after the 10 day window will be issued a credit that can be applied towards a future class within the next 12 months.

Instructor

Anu is the President and Founder of Capala Consulting Group, LLC where she specializes in Executive coaching and Agile Transformations. She is also an Enterprise Agile Coach and Certified Scrum Trainer® - providing education and coaching, consulting services to clients across the United States. An IT professional with over 25 years of industry experience, Anu holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Osmania University in India and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, Ohio.

Anu has extensive experience with large scale agile transformations, integral to the success of the likes of Capital One through her training and coaching expertise. She has specialized in leadership coaching and large group facilitation. Anu has established internal agile coaching Centers of Excellence for several clients to allow self-sustained coaching of their agile transformations. She has developed a coaching program specifically designed for evolving organizational leaders. Anu speaks frequently at conferences both nationally and internationally on Agile Leadership, Product Ownership, Coaching, and Group Facilitation Techniques.

Anu is passionate about coaching and training others, dedicated to helping to achieve professional and personal success. She has also committed to improving the agile community through several activities. She is an active member of the larger Scrum and Agile community and enjoys giving back via volunteering at various conferences.
