NextUp’s Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) training is a two-day course that provides an understanding of how Scrum transforms concepts and goals into a product backlog, user stories, and ultimately, product value. This highly interactive class delves into creating requirements in an Agile environment, implementing effective backlog prioritization, long-term and short-term planning, and providing vision.

About Your Trainer

Dr. Patrick (Mack) McConnell is the Vice President of Agile Services at NextUp Solutions and a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) specializing in Agile transformation in the public sector and scaling agile frameworks. A criminologist by training, Patrick transitioned from developing geospatial applications in Agile teams to coaching and training Agile methods and frameworks. He has served as an Agile coach and trainer for over 50 U.S. Government organizations, as well as the states of Alabama, Maryland, and New York.

Cancellation Policy

Students submitting cancellation requests 10 business days or more prior to the start of the course are entitled to a full refund. Students submitting cancellation requests less than 10 business days prior to the start of the course will be offered a credit toward a future NextUp Solutions course of equivalent value, or a refund less a processing fee of $100. Should the organizer cancel the course for any reason, each registered student will be issued a full refund.
