Tooele Responds under the direction of Tooele County Emergency Management

Tooele County Emergency Management (TCEM) is a proud partner in the federally based and nationally recognized Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program. TCEM has been organizing, training, and equipping local CERTs almost since the program was first organized. Currently there are more than 150 CERT members living or working within our county.
The CERT program provides standardized training which equips citizens with the skills necessary to respond during large emergencies and disasters. It’s a perfect example of neighbors helping neighbors.
Training empowers individuals to take care of their families first, then reach out to the neighborhood and community. CERT training classes include: Individual and Family Preparedness, Light Fire Supression and Fire Safety, Medical Operations and Organization, Light Search and Rescue, CERT Organization, Disaster Psychology, and Terrorism awareness. All of these skills combined with team leadership, help communities to respond and recover quickly after a disaster.
This registration is for the CERT Skills Training Day to be held on July 29, 2017. To take the CERT training you must do the online requirements and pay for the course before July 25th.
