CERT Basic Class Spring 2016

Anne Arundel County and City of Annapolis Community Emergency Response Team, Inc. (AAACERT) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Our mission is to providecitizens withemergency and disaster response, safety and disaster preparedness education and training toincrease community-wide readiness and response capabilities in direct support of local, stateand national emergency response initiatives.We are affiliated with theAnne Arundel County Office of Emergency Managmentand theCity of Annapolis Office of Emergency Management.

Anne Arundel County and City of Annapolis CERT

CERT Basic training consists of three days of training and includes a mass casualty exercise.
The purpose of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic training is to provide you with basic skills necessary to respond to your community’s immediate needs in the aftermath of a disaster, when emergency services are not immediately available. By working together, CERT members can assist in saving lives and protecting property using the basic techniques in this course. The target audience for this course is individuals who desire the skills and knowledge required to prepare for and respond to a disaster.

Friday, 6 May, 19:00 – 22:00 Saturday, 7 May, 08:00 – 16:00 Sunday, 8 May, 08:00 – 13:30 Saturday, 21 May, 10:00 - 13:00 (final exercise)

You must complete all 4 days in order to receive your Certificate of Completion and CERT ID.
