Ceramic "Worry Pot" Workshop
Come make your own pot out of clay at this ceramic wellbeing workshop led by Art psychotherapist Suzii Mackenzie
Talking about our worries can often be difficult and uncomfortable, but it can help to have a place to put them so we dont carry them around with us everywhere we go. Sometimes even just writing them down can help to lift a weight off our shoulders - In this workshop, we will be making clay pots that we can use to put these worries into.
Anything made within this workshop will be fired and decorated by Suzii Mackenzie, the Art Psychotherapist leading this workshop. You will be given the opportunity to pick your design or colours, so each item will be personalised for you. When the pieces are finished they will be available for collection from Paperxclips. If you do not pick up your work after a period of 3 months, the art work may be disposed of.
This is not a therapy group, but an open wellbeing group held within a safe, LGBT friendly space. However, if you do at any stage feel like you need any additional support, Suzii will be available and there to listen.
