Ceramic Wall Tile Workshop with Doni Langlois

Join clay artist Doni Langlois at the Ardest Gallery for a journey into creativity with clay.

Participants will be shown elements of composition and design, taught to create

textures, and guided to complete an abstract clay tile piece. These pieces will be glazed

with a wash of colorant – oxides or underglazes – and then mounted, by Doni, to a 12 X

12 hardboard frame for you to take home. This will take place over two visits with

ceramic firings in between. All materials, instruction and light refreshments included!

Sat June 29th , 1-4 PM– create your tile.

Sat July 13th , 1-3PM – glaze your tile.

Sat July 20th – pick up your wall piece – mounted on black 12 X 12 hardboard
