Create your own ceramic table lamp over 3 classes at Clay Soup Studio!
Week 1 - design, plan and create the lamp base out of clay
Week 2 - refine, trim and underglaze your design
Week 3 - glaze your bisqued piece and learn how to wire your lamp!
All materials will be provided including clay, tools, aprons and underglaze. Pieces will be bisque by week 3 fired and glaze fired within 3-4 weeks after our final class.
Please note that the price and ticket for May 8th includes the May 15th and 22nd classes as well. (3 classes for $240.00 CAD total)
Each class is limited to a maximum of 5 students.
Clay Soup Studios is a small-class education project and functional ceramics brand run by interdisciplinary artist and educator, Jules D. Mills in Toronto, Canada.
Studio Accessibility Information: 5 Adrian Ave is an old industrial building turned into loft/studio spaces. The front doorway is up a 4 step cement staircase (no hand rails) followed by two heavy doors to access the hallway and entrance to the studio. Assistance with doors will be given upon request. The studio unit is on the 1st floor, no further stairs are required past the front entrance.
