About this event

  • 1 day 7 hours

This Eventbrite listing is for pre-donations to reserve inside tent seating for the festival's Saturday night Headliner, The Arcadian Wild. The concert starts at 7pm.

Do NOT buy tickets from anyone offering them on our Facebook posting. These postings are by people who are scammers just trying to steal your money! ! You CAN sign up to be on a wait list if some inside seat tickets should become available. And lawn seating is always available for the Saturday evening concert.

AND you can count this as your donation for gaining access to all other festival events over the two days. Please read the entire post to know more about the festival!

If you DO NOT want to reserve inside tent seating for The Arcadian Wild AND you prefer to attend the festival just during the day and pre-donate so you can avoid waiting in a longer line at the festival entrance, click here: Donate to COFF (No concert ticket reserves here). You can also make DONATIONS directly at the festival if you are not going to pre-donate.

ABOUT THE EVENT:

A TWO-DAY FAMILY FRIENDLY FESTIVAL – with multiple stages featuring a refreshing variety of folk/roots/Americana performances. Performing artists are regional, local, and in some cases national artists. Are you itching to catch some live roots music in a great outdoor setting? Are you a musician that loves to jam with other musicians? Do you love to sing? You'll find it all here!

This year we've added a 5th "open jam tent" dedicated purely to song. Our other four jam tents each have their own musical focus: bluegrass, old-time, folk/folk-mix, and one serving the very beginner. The festival also features activities and performances for kids, 30+ music workshops (all levels of expertise including some for the very beginner), a YouthFolk Tent, festival store, opening and closing community sings, and a drum circle each day.

Food trucks on site all day. Our beer garden features Nocterra Brewing craft beer. PLEASE NOTE: You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol onto Metro Park grounds.

THE ARCADIAN WILD – SATURDAY EVENING HEADLINER – We’re excited to bring you The Arcadian Wild – a four-piece indie folk/pop group from Nashville, TN. Led by songwriters Isaac Horn and Lincoln Mick and Bailey Warren on fiddle, The Arcadian Wild confidently inhabits and explores an intersection of genres – blending the traditional with the contemporary. Combining elements of progressive bluegrass, folk, and formal vocal music, The Arcadian Wild offer up songs of invitation; calls to come and see, to find refuge and rest, to journey and wonder, to laugh and cry, to share joy and community and sing along.

The fact that their 2015 debut album earned them nearly 50 million streams on Spotify alone is proof of their top-notch quality. How else would they be invited to perform at venues like The Woody Guthrie Center and the Ryman Auditorium, once home of the Grand Ole Opry.

The band’s 2023 album Welcome marks the start of a captivating new chapter for the genre-bending trio, who returned to the studio with renewed purpose and insight after devoting the last few years to a series of critically acclaimed singles and EPs. The album blurs the lines between chamber folk and progressive bluegrass, drawing on everything from country and classical to pop and choral music with lush harmonies and dazzling fretwork, but this time around there’s a rawness to the writing, an embrace of candor and simplicity that cuts straight to the heart of things like never before. The result is perhaps the most arresting collection yet from a band known for its ability to stop listeners dead in their tracks, an exquisitely beautiful celebration of community, connection, and the power of belonging that feels tailor-made for these challenging times.

FESTIVAL ENTRY – Our festival is a "free-will donation" event. All festival events are accessible by anyone entering the grounds and that includes the Saturday evening headliner concert and workshops. We set up donation tents at the entrance. To make this successful, we’re encouraging donations. Know that your generous $$ support makes all of this possible! For a donation of $20 or more, you’ll get a fun flexible flyer, a cookie and a sticker (while supplies last)!

Donations can be made on-site, at the "Donate to COFF" link above, or on this page. We encourage a donation of $20 for each INSIDE TENT SEAT for SATURDAY NIGHT. Whether you donate via Eventbrite – which will reserve you an inside tent seat for The Arcadian Wild – OR you pre-donate via the donate link above (any amount welcome at that link), bring your receipt and look for the "I already donated" line for faster entry. PLEASE NOTE: to keep things easily manageable for us, we ask you to donate separately for each INSIDE-tent-seat reservation. One benefit? We are absorbing the Eventbrite donation processing fee on your behalf! IF you are visiting this reservation site and find inside seating is no longer available, know that lawn seating WILL always be available.
