Brooklyn NAACP Census 2020 Organizing Training The United States Constitution requires that the nation’s population is counted every ten years to ensure equal representation for all communities. The entire country must be counted, not just citizens.The Brooklyn NAACP has developed an institute to train activist to promote and ensure full participation of the Black Brooklyn community in the 2020 census. Activists will learn how to help execute our Get Out the Count (GOTC) efforts in Hard to Count (HTC) areas of Brooklyn using NAACP organizing strategies.Topics include:<ul><li>The importance of the Census</li><li>Relational Organizing</li><li>Mini-Van Training</li><li>Messaging</li><li>Get Out the Count - Preventing a Black Undercount</li></ul>
