Join us for a workshop on Census 101. Led by Sarah Malaika, Partnership Specialist / New York Regional Office at U.S. Census Bureau Free. SPACE IS LIMITED - RSVP required.The census is much more than just a head count. It provides a picture of our nation that helps determine where to build new schools, hospitals, and businesses; how federal funding is distributed; and how congressional seats are apportioned. It also helps us see how our communities have changed over time. That’s why an accurate count is so important.New York City must achieve a complete count in the 2020 Census. We have a creative plan to boost participation and are proud to have been awarded a <a href="http://bit.ly/MakeManhattanCount" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Make Manhattan Count</a> grant by Manhattan Borough President Gale A. Brewer to put it into action.
