Cello Magic

Get immersed in the deep, resonant vibrations of the cello, reaching into the most intimate corners of the soul. Ian Maksin continues his journey as a musical nomad, creating a unique fusion of musical traditions from across the globe through the empowering voice of the cello.

In this concert Maksin will perform original instrumental compositions inspired by ethnic music of the Middle East, Central Asia and West Africa, as well as songs from his collection of over 300 songs in 43 languages including French, Italian, Farsi, Navajo, Mongolian, Turkish, Kurmanji, Arabic, Ukrainian, Spanish, Greek, Georgian, Armenian, Hindi, and many others.
