About the Training:

Cell Phones & Children, Best Practices is a 1 1/2-hour training that explores the digital world through the eyes of young users via fun videos and interactive discussion. In the training, you will learn about the connections between cell phone use and mental health in our children. Participants will also better understand actionable ways you and your children can stay safe and have healthy relationships with cell phones.

We will share our top 3 best practices, plus there will be lots of resources and tools shown so you can be further informed as to how to balance device time, focus on self-worth, model healthy behaviors, and set boundaries.

Cell Phones & Children, Best Practices is a custom training born out of Liberty House’s iRespect&Protect community campaign dedicated to supporting the lives of youth, families, and communities by fostering positive self-worth, promoting healthy online choices, and encouraging safe relationships.

About the Facilitator:

Liberty House is the Children’s Advocacy Center serving Marion and Polk Counties in Oregon. We are your resource for the assessment, healing, and prevention of child abuse and neglect.
