About the training:
Cell Phones & Children, Best Practices is a 1 1/2-hour training explores the digital world through the eyes of young users via fun videos and interactive discussion. Participants will learn more about the connections between cell phone use and mental health in our children. In addition, we will identify actionable ways you and your children can stay safe and have healthy relationships with cell phones.
We will share our top 3 best practices, plus there will be lots of resources and tools shown so you can be further informed as to how to balance device time, focus on self-worth, model healthy behaviors, and set boundaries.
About the facilitator:
Liberty House is the Child Advocacy Center serving Marion and Polk Counties in Oregon. Our Prevention Department provides trainings and education to the community to keep our children safe.
