Framing works by Brahms, Handel and Haydn is a collection of works by esteemed living composers Ēriks Ešenvalds, Shawn Kirshner, and Molly Ijames. At the center of the program is Ralph Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music, an elaborate and grand musical setting of text from Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice.
