About this event

  • 2 hours

All who know and have learned from David Phillips, appreciate him as a man of unquestioned principle who was drawn to Northeastern from his prior academic post by our law school’s commitment to the highest ideals of the law. His tireless commitment to students, evidenced by his steady teaching of large and technical classes in contracts and business subjects showed all of us that, in the right hands, even commercial law can be a site to promote justice. A teacher and scholar with experience and influence across the globe, from Korea to Israel, David has been a treasured mentor and colleague to generations of Northeastern students and faculty and an author who followed his passions wherever they might lead.
