Celebrate CBCA Children’s Book Week® with Zart Art inspired creations

Tania Di Berardino is the Activity Designer and Program Manager for the Zart Book Week Teachers Resource Publication, and presenter of the Zart Book Week workshops each year.

Tania is passionate about children’s literature and art making. Her focus when running a workshop is to encourage and inspire participants to share the wonderful connection between Art and Australian Children’s literature.

This workshop presents art activities, ideas & discussions focusing on the 2024 CBCA Children’s Book Week® Shortlisted Early Childhood and Picture Book category books, as well as the theme Reading is Magic - linking art with literacy.

In this workshop, you will:

• Read & Explore the text and artwork of selected Shortlisted Books together
• Complete 6-7 x Art-Making Activities
• Discuss extension and display ideas
• Share ideas & inspiration to foster engagement in children’s literacy
