About this event

  • 4 hours

Think of how quickly we could heal this world if more of us were dancing, singing, storytelling and spending time in silence together, celebrating the seasons. Let's do it! Come join us! No experience necessary, no strings or obligations, just hearts gathered in celebration. We survived the pandemic! Let's celebrate the spring!

Beltaine (also called May Day) is a beautiful time to promote wellness and reignite joy in body, mind and spirit. Come play! Dress up, paint your face, be silly. Dance the Maypole, get a healing, tell stories around the fire, walk the labyrinth, and find spring joy in the forest at Camp Long! Bring the kiddos! Follow the fairy trail from the parking lot!

Wear your Fairy best! Bright spring colors, flowers in your hair, fairy wings. We'll have face painting supplies! and photo ops galore! Bring your drum or rattle! We'll have a fun ritual with music, a fire and a Maypole!

We are going to call the fairies! Bring them a flower or a crystal or something sparkly! Walk the labyrinth and see if you meet one!

We'll have lots of fun fairy activities for kids of all ages! Games!

We will have Fairy nibbles, sparkly snacks, delightful desserts, hot dogs, burgers, vegan options, and billowing non-alcoholic beverages.

Take a hike in the beautiful old-growth forest trails of Camp Long and offer the fairies your gift! You can ask them for Fairy-Sight or whatever you need in your life!

This is a family-friendly, body-positive, LGBTQ-friendly, ALL-WELCOMING event. Donations welcome for covering the costs of putting on the event including space rental, food and supplies.

Would you like to volunteer? If you'll help before or during the event, your entrance is free! Ping Sheri on Meetup here or email directly: sheri.c.ellis@gmail.com. And/or come help us on Apr-16! The fairies thank you! 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️💚
