Art Therapy and Relaxation

This workshop will include experiential practice of techniques, and offers informational materials and resources
for use in practice.

Process Painting:

a kinesthetic experiential integrating nonverbal creative expression and art-making with verbal processing, and journaling.

Shifting Perspectives on Money:

an experiential using visual metaphors to explore stuck parts of participants' financial attitudes and how financial conversations can be part of therapy. This course will include experiential practice, and offers providers informational materials and resources to utilize in their own practice.

Lymphatics and Self Massage 101: including demonstrations, information, and experiential led by Lara Sopchak

EMDR Resource Development for Mental Health Providers

This workshop will help clinicians identify and strengthen their own trove of personal resources in service of sustaining and grounding their therapeutic work with clients. We will review the basic EMDR mechanism, the AIP model (adaptive information processing), and the central clinical themes that ground EMDR work. From there, we will explore different types of personal resources (including internal, relational, and symbolic) and strengthen these through the use of bilateral stimulation.

Natural Connections, An Eco-Art Therapy Approach

After being introduced to the theoretical underpinnings and benefits of eco-art therapy, participants will be guided through an experiential that combines spending time in nature, creating with natural materials, and connecting with others.

Frequently asked questions

Is my ticket refundable?

$100 non-refundable deposit. To receive a refund for cancellations you must cancel two weeks prior to the retreat. If you cancel within the two weeks prior to the retreat 50% of your retreat fees will be refunded. Failure to cancel by the start of the retreat date will result in no refund.

If I am coming for one day which day is best for CEs?

Day rates are for Saturday and Sunday only. Saturday will have less CEs, as we will be having a sauna and sound bath Saturday. We will send out a schedule of each day prior to the retreat start. If you purchase one day rate you can decide which day you attend after receiving the finalized schedule

Can I come both days and lodge elsewhere?

Yes, you will need to buy TWO day rate tickets. You will receive food and all other amenities besides lodging.
