The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) offers rewarding peace officer career opportunities.  Becoming a peace officer with CDCR means you are joining a family of dedicated, hardworking men and women responsible for ensuring public safety throughout California.  Once you join CDCR, there are many career options you can take as a peace officer including Parole, Internal Affairs, Correctional Safety as well as specialized team assignments including Investigative Services Unit, Crisis Response Team, Gang Task Force, and Fugitive Apprehension Team. Are you looking for a new career in law enforcement?  The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is hosting a one-stop hiring event for Peace Officers!
Applicants will attend a CDCR recruitment presentation, question and answer session, opportunity to apply onsite, and if qualified, complete the written examination, all in one day!

 Minimum Requirements

U.S. Citizen or applied for citizenship
</LI>
<LI>
21 years of age (20 at the time of application)
</LI>
<LI>
U. S. high school diploma/GED
</LI>
<LI>
No felony convictions
</LI>
</UL>
Parking:
Parking is available onsite and at nearby garages. All parking is fee-based and not covered for this event.

Please bring your photo identification.
Cellphones will be permitted for the presentation and application only.
