Frequently asked questions

Where should I park?

At NGHS there is a lot of parking available free of charge to you. We suggest you to park in the Jewell Deck, Spring Lot, or on Spring Street.

Where is Walters Auditorium from ER or Mother/Baby Entrance?

If parked in front of the ER or Mother/Baby entrance (left of ER entrance), enter through the Mother/Baby entrance. Once you’ve gone through the 1st set of double doors, there are stairs to your right that will lead you down to the Walter’s Auditorium entrance.

Where is Walter's Auditorium from the Outpatient building?

If parked in front of the Outpatient Building, enter through the Outpatient Building main entrance and walk past a set of elevators on your left. You will see a sign straight ahead with an arrow pointing towards Walters Auditorium.

When should I arrive?

We suggest arriving at 7:00 to allow for plenty of time to find parking, walk to Walters Auditorium, and sign in.

Where should I eat at during lunch break?

Lunch break will happen approximately from 12:00 to 1:00. You are welcome to eat lunch in one of two of our cafeterias, including Chick-Fil- A. For you coffee lovers we also have a Starbucks located in our Brightspot in the North Patient tower. Lunch will NOT be provided by the organization.

What if I am a NGHS employee?

Do not sign up for this course through Eventbrite. NGHS employees should sign up for this event through Workday, as this is a FREE event for all NGHS Employees!

Where is Walters Auditorium?

Enter the main entrance on the South tower, look for the women's and children's entrance signs. You will enter the first set of automatically opening doors and immediately turn right. There will be a door leading to a set of stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, you will be at Walter's Auditorium.

Can I get a refund?

We are happy to assist you in obtaining a refund! Unfortunately, due to the cost of the seminar we will not approve refunds after December 16th. We will not refund the cost of completing the refund or the cost of the tickets. The ticket purchaser will be responsible for ticket fees.

Can I attend one day only?

This course is set-up to be a two-day course. We suggest you attend both days. There will not be a refund or cost difference for attending one day.

What should I bring?

We will provide you with an instructional book to go along with the course. Please bring any additional writing utensils that you may need such as a highlighter, pencil, or pen. Light jacket if you get chilly. Water bottles and light snacks to keep your brain fueled.
