About this event

CCAR Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaching

Join us for an exciting two day (Saturday May 4 AND Saturday May 11) online training where we will explore the ethical considerations in the world of recovery coaching. This event is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about the ethical guidelines and best practices that recovery coaches should follow.

Maintaining the integrity and professionalism of the Recovery Coach and Peer Support/Advocate professions is a key priority of the Maryland Addiction and Behavioral Health Professionals Certification Board (MABPCB). This training has been approved by MABPCB for 16 CEU's towards the Maryland CPRS Credential.

It is critical that those supporting others in their recovery follow a set of professional standards and principles. This workshop presents a comprehensive introduction to the ethical considerations for recovery coaches/peer advocates and satisfies the Ethical Responsibility requirements for CPRS Certifications.

Whether you are a seasoned recovery coach or just starting out, this event will provide valuable knowledge and resources to enhance your coaching skills. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with other professionals in the field and expand your understanding of ethical considerations in recovery coaching!

When registering please make sure to add your address for manuals to be sent directly to you. Participants must attend both days of the training and remain on camera and engaged. If you choose to purchase your own manual please remember to send a confirmation to masmussen@thejudehouse.org.

The Jude House is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the recovery community for over fifty years. Now more than ever as we endeavor on creating a campus for future, we need your support. With your help we can continue to bring services, programs, and much needed resources for our patients. A few of our top resource partners include Point of Change, The Bridge Center at Adams House, and the Damascus House and the Southern Maryland Job Source. The online engagement of these companies has greatly increased since partnering with us.

Your donations and sponsorships will literally build the foundation of a new residential facility and expand our services for those affected by Substance Use Disorder. The patients we serve need long term treatment and have the desire to become productive community members.
