Welcome to the Cave of Wonders Grand Opening Party!
Join us at Sparkerland for a night of magic and mystery as we unveil our first of four shows for the 2025-26 Season. Explore the depths of the cave and discover unexpected treasures and wall writings throughout the space, with clues for chances to win special prizes in celebration of our opening.
Tickets include one free drink at the mocktail bar and one free raffle ticket. Additional drinks and raffle tickets will be available for purchase. We are a dry establishment, however guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol. Mundelein Liquors is located just 3 doors down, also in the Fairhaven Plaza.
This is a family-friendly event that includes the kids' dis/PLAY Room, a safe space parents can drop off children age 1-9 for a $5 fee, and explore the show while their kids enjoy the dis/PLAY amenities, under intern supervision. Nursing moms or those who need a sensory break can take a moment to relax in our back lounge, located near the restroom.
Don't miss out on this exciting experience! Created and curated by internationally-acclaimed artist Sparker, featuring artwork by Anastasia Samoylova, Video Waste, Joshuah Jest, Sissie Halperin, and Ellen Williams. Featuring a special 8-minute soundscape experience created by musician James Page of Blue Monkey Studios that will play approximately once every 30 minutes. Live performances by The Moon Witches, The Ultimate Alliance, and Lea Tanton + Mark Wilson to close out the evening.

Frequently asked questions
Free parking is available in both the East and West lots of the Fairhaven Plaza, however the West lot is bigger and likely to have more space. There is also parking across the street at Ace Hardware and free parking on the street as well. Please avoid parking directly in front of the liquor store.
Customers who purchase tickets online can enjoy a discounted early bird rate of $25. Any visitors with a SNAP/LINK card may purchase tickets at the door at a 50% discount off the retail $30 ticket price. Children 12 and under enter for $10 each. $5 additional for kids entering the dis/PLAY room.
Guests who cannot make the opening party and would like the visit Cave of Wonders can purchase tickets for $10 during regular open hours and stay as long as desired.
Our raffle prizes include free Sparkerland merch, artwork, and other exciting giveaways from Lake County local businesses!
Patrons are asked to refrain from bringing in pets unless they are service animals.
