Town Cats is proud to host Cause for Paws Virtual Event, featuring special guest speaker Samantha Bell, cat counselor to the stars!

Help us save more lives this kitten season by supporting our Spring Cause For Paws Event! Our virtual event will take place on May 15th where we will be hosting our special guest speakers, Samantha Bell and Patti Guthrie. Understanding Feline Body Language with Samantha Bell- Cats&#x27; methods of communicating are very different from those of humans and canines. Learn how cats communicate with us through their body language as well as how we should be responding. With content geared toward cat owners, cat lovers, and those working with cats in shelter or foster environments, you&#x27;re sure to walk away with the info you can use to understand your cat better and ultimately to save more cats&#x27; lives.Patty Guthrie &amp; Dave Zemke have been volunteering for Town Cats since 2003. In 2004, they found a very friendly tortie cat outside their apartment; although Rosi offered to help them adopt her out, they decided to keep her, and she became their first therapy cat, Muppet. To this day, they continue to do therapy pet work with Mokey (adopted from Town Cats in 2007), and Widget (adopted from Town Cats in 2016), as well as their two dogs. Patty will speak on her experience working with her therapy cats and how they make a big impact on the community. We are also hosting an online auction which will go live on May 15th and close on May 31st. There are many amazing items up for grabs, including sporting events, vacation miles, and memorabilia.
