Washington Cathay Future Center (WCFC) is an internationally recognized educational and cultural enrichment center in Rockville, MD that provides programming and oppurtunitites for children and their families. Our aim is to cultivate students’ artistic expression, intellectual development, and leadership potential.

Join important DMV community members, contribute to something creative and wonderful, give to a school in Africa, learn about summer opportunities, and have tons of fun. *The Sherman Adams Sr. Memorial School came about from an overwhelming need for primary education in the mostly impoverished township of Duazon. Realizing that many children around her home were not getting formal schooling, Kate Adams started a “study class” where she paid teachers to provide schooling a few hours a day for 18 children ranging in ages from 5 to 12 years of age. After one year, the study class grew from 18 to over 150 children. At this point Kate Adams, and her husband Dr. Z’Sherman Adams Jr. decided to build a new primary school in the community.
