Alma Dance Theateris a female-centric performing group, created and directed by Miami native choreographer Marissa-Alma Nick. Taking on contemporary social issues through dance, the company deemed "provocative, intelligent & unexpected" by the Miami New Times, is a sheer force of nature that will leave you wanting more. Wanting to create an opportunity for their audience to “see themselves” in the work, the artists that makeup Alma Dance Theater are a bold reflection of Miami’s international and immigrant-based culture.

CASK, ALDT's annual Halloween event, is a fresh retelling of Edgar Allen Poe's The Cask of Amontillado. This seductive experience brings you into one fatal night full of betrayal, humility and revenge.  
CASK is a fully immersive experience + you are invited to participate in the show by wearing all black (masks are optional).
