His new CD, from audiophile recording label, Chesky Records, is simply, purely, entitled -- JAZZ, the inimitable CaseyBassy’s first full jazz standards recording.This CD Release Party promises to be an intimate celebration. This unique, quirky singer/bassist, will be delivering his own takes on tunes from Cole, Sinatra, Monk, Jobim, and Miss Peggy Lee, up through a little Joe Cocker and the Beatles, while jamming along with some very special surprise musical guests from the West Coast jazz world.Casey studied throughout high school at the acclaimed jazz program at Idyllwild Arts Academy, in California.
