Hannon Hill Training

This hands-on technical training will teach you the fundamental assets needed to build and manage a website from scratch in Cascade CMS.

From speeding up onboarding of a new developer to having 1-2 users needing a refresher, this training covers the core skills you need to know. This option is perfect for organizations that don&#x27;t need a large number of users trained and are okay with being part of a group training.The content is directed at technical System Administrators, Webmasters, Developers, and Managers.Topics Covered:<ul><li>Cascade CMS Interface, Dashboard, and Site Content Views</li><li>Administration, Users, Groups, Roles, and Workflows</li><li>Creating a Page, Converting an HTML Page to a Cascade CMS Page</li><li>Coding Formats, Using Velocity for Page Content</li><li>Formats and Index Blocks, Navigation and Breadcrumbs</li><li>Content Reuse/Syndication through News Articles and Archives</li><li>Managing a Site, Settings, and Publishing</li></ul>FormatThe training is conducted remotely over two days—Monday, August 21 and Tuesday, August 22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (ET). Call and log-in information will be sent 1-2 business days prior to training. Access to the Hannon Hill training environment will be emailed to all participants prior to the event.It is necessary for each participant to have a dedicated screen to view the Hannon Hill trainer’s screen and their own computer/workspace with a network connection. Anyone attending the training should come prepared with access to an IDE to help streamline the coding process. (Free examples: Atom, Sublime Text, and TextWrangler.)Important Information<ul><li>This training is for Hannon Hill customers who have been with us for more than 1 year.</li><li>Space is limited in order to facilitate an effective training.</li><li>A maximum of two users per organization will be enforced. Customers needing more than two users trained should contact the training team at training@hannonhill.com to ask about our dedicated Cascade CMS Bootcamp.</li></ul>PaymentParticipants can pay ahead of time using the Eventbrite payment processor or opt for &quot;Pay by Invoice&quot; during the registration process.
