Hannon Hill Training

The hands-on, technical training is designed to teach how to use the fundamental assets needed to manage a website from scratch in Cascade.

From speeding up onboarding of a new developer to having 1-2 users needing a refresher, this training covers the core skills you need to know. This option is perfect for organizations that don&#x27;t need a large number of users trained and are okay with being part of a group training.There is something for System Administrators, Webmasters, Developers, Managers, Trainers, and Power Users, but the content is directed at technical System Administrators and Webmasters/Developers.Topics Covered<ul><li>Cascade Interface, Dashboard, and Site Content Views</li><li>Administration, Users, Groups, Roles, and Workflows</li><li>Creating a Page, Converting an HTML Page to a Cascade Page</li><li>Coding Formats, Using Velocity for Page Content</li><li>Formats and Index Blocks, Navigations and Breadcrumbs</li><li>Content Reuse/Syndication through News Articles and Archives</li><li>Managing a Site, Settings, and Publishing</li></ul>FormatThe training is conducted remotely over two days. Monday, November 8 and Tuesday, November 9 from 10am to 6pm ET on both days. Call and login information will be sent 1-2 business days prior to training. Access to the Hannon Hill training environment will be emailed to all participants prior to the event after registration closes.It is necessary for each participant to have a dedicated screen to view the Hannon Hill trainer’s screen and their own computer/workspace with a network connection. Anyone attending the training should come prepared with access to an IDE to help streamline the coding process. (Free examples: Atom, Sublime Text, and TextWrangler.)Important Information<ul><li>This training is for Hannon Hill customers who have been with us for more than 1 year.</li><li>Space is limited in order to facilitate an effective training.</li><li>A maximum of two users per organization will be enforced.
