CASA Information Session

CASA of Central Virginia (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to recruit, train and support volunteer advocates for abused and neglected children in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court system and to educate the community about the needs of these children.

Join us for an hour-long video/slide presentation about the role and responsibilities of a Court Appointed Special Advocate, and how to become one. Attend to apply now for Winter2018 training classes. There'll be time for Q&A with a veteran volunteer advocate!  Bring a friend and learn more about the rewards of this unique volunteer opportunity to serve the abused and neglected children of our community.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The information session will be held in the Monument Terrace Building across from City Hall in downtown Lynchburg.  Look for any available free 1- or 2-hour parking space on Church or on 9th Street (our cross street). Once you enter the lobby, you will see a directional sign pointing to the conference room where we meet on the first floor.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, the ticket to confirm your RSVP is for your information only and is not required to attend.
