The Masonic Sentinels will be hosting a fundraising breakfast to benefit the CASA project. An organization that advocates for the best interests of abused, neglected, and vulnerable children, amplifies their voice in court, and supports them on their paths toward a permanent home. In support of this endevaour, the Sentinels are asking for donations of pancake mix that can be used to help defer some of the costs involved. Donations can be left at the lodge at any time, but the easiest way will be to bring it with you to any of the upcoming meetings.
Nearly 8700 children are removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect in MA. Many times these children leave with nothing more than the clothes on their back
The CASA Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for the best interest of children in the foster care system. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are assigned to amplify the children’s voices, advocate for their best interest and support them on their path to a safe & permanent home. CASAs help abused and neglected children navigate the Worcester county juvenile courts one child at a time.
