TRY IT! Tuesdays- "Carve a Tile/Trivet"
In this class you will use the slab hand building technique to create a tile and then carve a decorative pattern or design into the tile. The tile can be used as either a decorative wall hanging or as a trivet to protect surfaces.
About TRY IT! Tuesdays: Each class is a unique, project based class where you’ll discover the art of hand-building, the wheel, or intuitive abstract art making, depending upon the project.
TRY IT! Tuesdays Classes are held on Tuesday mornings from 10:00am -12:00pm. Classes are $55 each and include all necessary tools and materials: Clay, firings, and glazing. Art projects include canvas, drawing and painting materials and tools.
Embark on a creative journey with “Try it Tuesdays” -Each class is a unique, project based, one-off class where you’ll discover the art of hand-building, the wheel, or intuitive, abstract art making, depending upon the project.
Only prerequisites: An open mind and willingness to learn!
Ages 16+
Minimum 6 to run the class.
